Not knowing why you or your child is struggling can feel overwhelming. Questions turn into worry, uncertainty, and frustration. Our goal is to replace those questions with answers you can trust and a clear path forward.

At Core Spring Diagnostics, we provide comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and adults. Our goal isn't just to provide a diagnosis. It's to help you better understand yourself or your loved one, giving you the clarity, direction, and confidence to move forward with the right support.

Every person has a unique story, and every evaluation should reflect that. That's why each evaluation is handled by one psychologist from start to finish, allowing for a truly personalized approach. We take the time to understand each individual's strengths, challenges, and experiences, so you're not left with just a diagnosis, but a deeper understanding of what it means and where to go from here. The Process

How Our Evaluation Process Works

01.
Initial Consultation

Every evaluation begins with a conversation. We take the time to understand what's been going on, what concerns have brought you here, and what you're hoping to better understand. Together, we'll talk through your history, current challenges, strengths, and any questions you may have. This conversation helps us see the bigger picture and ensures your evaluation is tailored to your unique needs. By the end, you'll have a clear understanding of what to expect and the path moving forward

02.
Evaluation Sessions

Your evaluation is built around your individual concerns, not a one-size-fits-all approach. We use a combination of gold standard testing, clinical interviews, observations, and questionnaires to gain a thorough understanding of how you or your child thinks, learns, and functions in everyday life. Our goal is to look beyond symptoms and understand the whole person, allowing us to provide meaningful answers that lead to the right recommendations and support. Each evaluation is handled by one psychologist throughout the entire process, allowing for a more personal and individualized experience.

03.
Comprehensive Report

After testing is complete, your psychologist carefully brings all of the information together into a clear and detailed report. Your report explains the results in language that's easy to understand and includes practical recommendations tailored to your individual needs. Whether it's treatment recommendations, accommodations at work, or support at home, our goal is to provide answers you can actually use. When appropriate, your report can also be used to support IEPs, 504 Plans, accommodations, and referrals for additional services, helping you access the care and support you or your child may need moving forward.

04.
Feedback Session

This is where everything comes together. You'll meet with the same psychologist who completed your evaluation to review the results, discuss the recommendations, and answer any questions you may have. Our goal is to make sure you leave with more than just a diagnosis. We want you to leave with clarity, peace of mind, and a clear understanding of the next steps so you can confidently move forward and get the proper care and support you or your child deserve.

FAQs

Got Questions? We’re Here to Answer

A psychological evaluation looks at emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, or ADHD. A neuropsychological evaluation, on the other hand, digs deeper into brain based functions like memory, attention, learning, and problem-solving. At Core Springs Diagnostics, we’ll help you determine which type of evaluation best fits your needs during the initial consultation.

The full evaluation process usually spans a few appointments. Evaluation sessions may take 2 to 6 hours total, depending on age and the type of evaluation. We take our time to create a comfortable pace and ensure you or your child feel supported. After evaluating, we carefully prepare a comprehensive report before your feedback session.

Yes, we do! Whether it’s a toddler who’s not hitting developmental milestones, a teen struggling in school, or an adult exploring a possible late autism or ADHD diagnosis, we’re here to help. Every stage of life matters, and we tailor our evaluations accordingly.

Absolutely. You’ll receive a detailed written report that explains the results in everyday language, without medical jargon. It will include any diagnoses (if applicable), along with clear, practical recommendations. We’ll review everything with you during your feedback session to ensure you feel fully informed and supported.

Yes! Our evaluations often play a key role in helping families request appropriate school supports. The written report you receive can be shared with your child’s school to help advocate for services like IEPs or 504 Plans. We aim to make the process as helpful and empowering as possible.

We understand that “evaluation” can sound intimidating, but our sessions are designed to be relaxed and supportive. For kids, we use play based and interactive tools. For teens and adults, we ensure the experience feels respectful and collaborative, creating a space that’s never clinical or cold.

If your child avoids eye contact, has delayed speech, shows repetitive behaviors, or struggles socially, an autism evaluation can help clarify what’s going on. Early identification leads to better support, so trust your instincts and reach out.

Yes, our evaluation can also screen for PTSD and bipolar-related symptoms.
